JUDGE IMPOSES HEAVY FINE ON ILLEGAL CONTRACTOR

Sandra Jeanne Tyler stole from 14 unsuspecting homeowners and ordered to make $107,590 in restitution to the Nevada State Contractors Board

RENO, NEV. – Nevada District Court Judge Tammy Riggs today sentenced unlicensed contractor Sandra Jeanne Tyler after she confessed to stealing $160,000 from 14 Northern Nevada homeowners. Judge Tammy Riggs sentenced Tyler to 36 months’ probation, eight days in jail, and ordered her to pay $107,590 to the Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) as reimbursement for restitution payments made to victims in this case. She is also required to make $1,000 monthly payments until the balance is paid. 

Last April, Tyler pled guilty to two felony counts of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses while she operated Re-Bath Reno.
