Its claim to fame was a prime location on Nashville’s famous Music Row — Dawg House Saloon & Sports Book has since closed its doors in the Music City, but luckily Las Vegas visitors can still experience the food, vibes and music at the Las Vegas version.

This iteration serves up country eats and good times beginning at 7 a.m. with standout dishes like biscuits and gravy, Nashville chicken and waffles, steak and eggs and a classic breakfast platter. Perfect after a night of drinking, order the breakfast sandwich called the Wake-n-Bake with fried farm eggs, cheddar cheese and smoked applewood bacon on a toasted brioche bun and pair it with the Hair of the Dawg, a triple shot of vodka, Bloody Mary mix and a meat and cheese skewer. Dinner and late-night menus include burgers, gourmet dogs, salads, wings and sandwiches. Some of the not-to-miss creations at Dawg House include cheese curds, The Twisted Krispie (the chef’s secret twist on the classic dessert), homemade chili, bacon candy and the smoked sausage platter with kielbasa, cheddarwurst, linguica and accompaniments like pickled hot peppers, cheddar and pepperjack cheeses, fried pickles and various dipping sauces. And don’t sleep on the food truck inside the restaurant, the Mouse House, serving up specialty grilled cheeses.

The full bar is set up with draft beers, seltzers and wines. Specialty cocktails keep guests happy with favorites that are familiar and simple-yet-delicious, like the Drunken Arnie with Deep Eddy Sweet Tea vodka and lemonade, and the Southern Belle Smash with Jack Daniels, peach nectar and citrus soda. On the weekends, get in the mood for live music, DJs and sports viewing parties. And making a bet is never far away, as Dawg House is situated adjacent to the property’s sportsbook. If you’ve got a group that wants to eat, drink and watch the game, this is the perfect spot, because you can reserve a couch or VIP table to keep the fun party going!
