LAS VEGAS – Sept. 17, 2024 – The Las Vegas Book Festival Saturday returns Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with three panel discussions and one workshop highlighting Spanish literature.      Latina romance authors and friends Alexis Daria, Annette Chavez Macias, Priscilla Oliveras and Mia Sosa will discuss their books and inspiration with moderator Jacqueline Killian.

Another discussion will examine how literary partnerships can enhance writers’ careers by providing platforms for international visibility, co-authorship opportunities and the exchange of innovative ideas; moderated by Juanny Vega, this panel includes Patricia Marulanda, Dr. Marcela Bernal Pardo, Guanina Alexandras Robles and Niza Todaro.

Latinx educators in Southern Nevada, Marbella Alfonso, Laurents E. Bañuelos-Benitez and Norma A. Marrun will join a conversation about their experiences and histories.
