Las Vegas Boulevard: Strip View, Take it off!

As I wonder what this journey will mean for the next 12 weeks on the Strip, I question what it will do to change anyone else’s life besides mine. It has been brought to my attention that my life is not just
about me.
When we choose to take any direction or any path, somehow we affect others even without trying. There is a strong connection to our life paths and the people we meet on the journey, whether we know it or not. From the valet to the gardener, to your lawyer, we are all interconnected.
Wearing whatever mask you have on for the day, smile and let me see your two faces especially when we cross paths on the Strip. If you are mean-muggin’ and you come to Las Vegas for the entertainment aspect, my advice to you is: “STAY AT HOME, PLEASE!”
Yes, I said it, and who am I? I am Comiesha Monica, and it is my pleasure to meet you, truthfully. I am your rude awakening, the best friend you never asked for and your confidant, who is willing to put you in your place, at a moment’s notice.
See, my only problem with people is their attitude, especially when they come to Las Vegas for entertainment, seriously.
We don’t need the bulls**t; we need you to have a magnificent time. Our Strip is laid out for you to enjoy.
You want hot girls and guys? We’ve got it. You want unlimited alcoholic beverages? We’ve got it. You want to hit the slots or tables? Don’t hesitate. How about watching a game, laying up in your hotel room or Airbnb? Suit yourself, and finally, if you want to live a 24-hour lifestyle, Las Vegas is the town where you can lay your head down or hang your hat up and it can be your home.
One thing I am sure about this town is, we are grateful to have you under those circumstances and it is my hope that you will be glad to be here, under those particular circumstances.
I will not over-saturate this article with content on teaching you how to be a visitor in Las Vegas; however, I will need you to be aware of Las Vegas etiquette, which is very simple.
1. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
2. Mind your own business.
3. Have as much fun as you can.
See how simple my instructions are? Now, it does not take either a rocket scientist or a Mensa member to figure it out.
So that you are very clear on my firm position, I will practice what I preach because I am not a saint (I’m closer to a sinner, admittedly).
Are you ready to enjoy the Strip with me now that I’ve laid out those conditions?
Well, I must go because someone is waiting for me. Before I go though, a thought just crossed my mind. Wearing a mask is not all that it is cracked up to be per my experience, so I will look at this from the Strip view and take it off so we can both breathe better and enjoy the moment.
That is it and that is all, until we meet again. See you next week, Deuces!
