Gary Anthony enjoyed hearing Frank Sinatra’s songs when he was three years old introduced by his father, a big band director. Later surprisingly realized his own ability to sound like Sinatra.
Gary’s father made a pit stop in Las Vegas for the summer. Gary auditioned for a show along with his brother called “Vegas Beat ’68” and for the first time got his professional stage performance impersonating Frank Sinatra, creating long time friendships with professional performers such as former “Miss Nevada” Sandy Kastel making the charts with her latest CD today.
As Gary explained, “It is so thrilling to be able to sing like Sinatra because people feel it almost is like being there, it’s like recreating it, this is so much fun to do.
SZ: “You recreate the whole feeling, the experience, with all of the nuances, the sound, and the movements. You realized early and had the ability.
Gary added, “I was a dancer first.”
Now Gary Anthony has a business booking impressionists, all size bands, showgirls, along with different talent, even sound and lighting! When they want a celebrity impressionist, the stage or setting must have the right sound and lighting.
Gary traveled around the world several times. Gary moved to Las Vegas so we will be seeing more of his shows.
This Wednesday, March 16, Gary Anthony appears at the Italian American Club for their all you can eat dinner show, with his 90 minute show.
Gary is booked alone or with the Rat Pack- Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr.
He performs on the stage at hotels, conventions, at private parties, and a SINATRA wedding. A SINATRA wedding is different from the usual wedding.
