I was invited to the Producer Mezcal Official Launch Party at The Barbershop (inside the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel), which was not really only an old fashioned-style barbershop it was a “front” for a night club!!! Back in the days of the mob, they had some legitimate businesses in the front of a building with their gambling hidden in the back behind a special heavy, locked door separating both.
You walk in through a real barbershop, have to be permitted to enter the heavy locked door after they look through a sliding window to see your credentials, a red-light flashes, and the large door opens suddenly the scene changes. The Barbershop- Cuts and Cocktails is a night club with a bar, stage for entertainment, and lots of large couches for guests! This “Speakeasy” theme is a clever, original way to create an atmosphere for fun.
I was pleasantly surprised, “What a band! Swizz Beatz and The Producer Mezcal launch party presented music by New Masters featured the outstanding Reyon Harrold. He is truly “THE MASTER OF THE TRUMPET”, his smooth, stunning skills are widely known. It was a time to relax and hear Harrold’s unmatched version of music.”
I felt, “Tasting Mezcal for the first time is an awakening to a new brand, the taste brings a satisfying feeling that this is the one to sip and savor.”
The First Installment of The Producer’s Cut Event Series aims to focus and celebrate the knowledge and patience necessary to produce both Mezcal and music. I agree, “When you want the best, there has to be an accumulation of building to a point when they finally say this is the right formula! The producers of Mezcal took time and you will taste the difference!”
I enjoyed the atmosphere while sitting on a really comfortable couch filming their unique band to air on my television program.
Later that evening after their set, The Rook and the Riot rock band played.
