Television influences so many people, it all began when Vince Spinnato was 15 years old and enjoyed watching the “Young and the Restless” soaps. The Young and the Restless was like most of the other soaps yet they had two wealthy families in the cosmetics industry as part of their story.
Vince Spinnato, President/CEO Turn Key Beauty- a Celebrity Skin Care Line, stands as a successful man who is living his dream. He went to college to study chemistry to become a cosmetic chemist and further went on to develop his own lines as well as lines for celebrities.
There is so much to know about chemicals and the ingredients f
or these body, face, and hair products, and the knowledge about people’s allergies as well as those sensitive to certain ingredients. Spinnato explained, “It can take about three to four months to develop the product’s formula and from 90 to 100 days to be approved by a doctor and the government.
He has a saying, “Beauty Comes from Within: Jars, Bottles and Tubes.”
Spinnato’s book is a memoir-“My Pursuit of Beauty: A Cosmetic Chemist Reveals The Glitz, The Glam and The Crazy” is a look at what to do and what not to do.”
He shares his bizarre situations in the book- The time he survived a tornado in Iowa while being tethered to a bridge, another when he became stuck inside a resort water slide and had to be rescued by the fire department.
Creating beauty lines for celebrities can be exciting, he has to study the celebrities’ and complement their personality. Spinnato has created products for mega-stars Michael Jordan, Jennifer Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Simpson, and others.
He has also created more than 300 products for retail establishments.
There’s also a new documentary about Vince Spinnato’s
life appearing in 2022.
Spinnato’s latest client is creating a fragrance for Judy Garland’s 100 Birthday researching all of the details with her family to be released in June, 2022. He asked questions such as “What colors did she wear, what did she like or not like. This already took one year with another year to go.
