The Downtown Las Vegas Arts District is BOOMING, I was invited three different events there recently and am happy to see Las Vegas alive and well, back to enjoying entertainment!

Called the Halleloo celebration, Halleloo is short for hallelujah, coined by drag queen Shangela, a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

First they offered a pre-garden party special celebrity red carpet hosted by Ebony Enchantress, Symone, Season and 13 winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race.  At 7 p.m. queens and VIPs graced the red carpet dripped in glitter, jewels, and fabulous drag with noteworthy names such as RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 winner Symone, season 13 alum Joey Jay, Madame LaQueer, Pangina Heals from RuPaul’s Drag Race previous seasons.

Guests started the evening with cocktails and crafted bites including tomato Caprese, Angus beef sliders, and buffalo tenders and kept the night alive with live music and a show stopping drag show hosted by Symone.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate The Garden’s 1-year anniversary with our friends, neighbors and queens who have believed in our purpose to serve as a gathering space for all races, genders, creeds, and our LGBTQ+ community and provide them with a safe space to have fun,” said Eduardo Cordova, owner of The Garden Las Vegas. Having opened in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, this celebration proves our community is supportive and strong, and that with love, we all prosper. We are proud to have the support of the community and am excited to create a Vegas’ first gayborhood in the Arts District, with Queen Bar coming later this year as a unique Drag Bar concept, and other on the way.”

Pride month is big this year with several other celebrations and events!

The Garden is located on South First Street at the Rainbow Sidewalk.

The Garden is a fresh, new concept created by nightlife empresario, Eduardo Cordova. It is an intimate and chic LGBTQ lounge bar located in the Art District in Downtown Las Vegas. The Garden dives into an untapped market in the Las Vegas community championing craft cocktails, light bites and an indulgent ambiance. As Cordova’s first installment in creating a new LGBTQ+ neighborhood, The Garden Las Vegas has set the precedent for Las Vegas’ gay bar scene; his second establishment, Queen Bar, is debuting late 2021 on Main St and Colorado.
