For a very long time Fox News was the only news outlet that was reporting favorably on President Donald Trump and his administration. Fox News was created by Australian-American media mogul Rupert Murdoch to appeal to a conservative audience of 17 million cable subscribers on October 7, 1996.
Murdoch’s two sons were sent to Europe by their father to be educated and became too leftist for today’s political taste and came back to run the elder Murdoch’s media empire including Fox News switching little by little from conservative to liberal.
Once Fox News had been described as the CNN for conservatives, but his two sons running Fox News have cited the channel as detrimental to the integrity of news overall.
Fox News employees have said that news reporting operates independently of its opinion and commentary programming, and have denied bias in news reporting, while former employees have said that Fox ordered them to “slant the news in favor of conservatives.”
During Trump’s presidency, observers have said there is a pronounced tendency of the Fox News Channel to serve as a “mouthpiece” for the administration, providing “propaganda” and a “feedback loop” for Trump, with one presidential scholar stating, “It’s the closest we’ve come to having state TV.”
But many did not see it as a truth statement because CNN, CNBC and other anti-Trump media giants were always the ones attacking the president.
A few reporters and commentators were doing their jobs fair and square with the exception of White House correspondent John Roberts, who even had the audacity to throw a childish tantrum on the air because of a disagreement with the White House spokesperson who did not let him get away with disrespecting her during a daily press conference.
Judge Jeanine Pirro who hosted “Justice with Judge Jeanine” every Saturday for many years is no longer on the air as what may be the beginning of the “house cleaning” until all the real and professionals who made Fox News a million-dollar empire are gone.
We would not be surprised if Hannity, Carlson and Watters will follow Judge Jeanine. All those who have made Fox News a million-dollar empire and are making good money telling the truth could get together and chip in a
few million to create a real news business to serve the community that is going to need it very badly if in fact the “commies” take over.
But that is something that could never happen because in a communist nation free enterprise is not possible and freedom of the press is outlawed.
In communist countries there is only one newspaper, one television station and one radio station all owned and operated by the government so no one can have an opinion that is not approved or agreed to by the government. In Cuba there is only one newspaper, called The Grandma, named after the ship used by Fidel Castro to attack the Caribbean Island; only one radio station called Radio Progreso, owned and operated by no one else but the Cuban Communist Government that has ruled the island for the last sixty-one years.
Today Fox News seems to have joined the list of media owned and controlled by the communists in the former United States.
