The speech of Barack Obama during the Democratic convention was like the eulogy he gave at the funeral of John Lewis — it was nothing but praise for himself and the expectations he has for how he hopes people will think.
“I am here today where the Constitution was written and signed; [it is] not a perfect document. It allowed for the inhumanity of slavery and failed to guarantee women and men who didn’t own property [the] right to participate in the political process. Through civil war and bitter struggles, we improved this Constitution to include the voices
of those who’d once been left out.”
Is Mr. Obama also referring to the present-time civil war we are experiencing on the streets of Denver, Colorado; Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon and several other cities of this wonderful country that he so deeply and obviously dislikes?
“I have sat in the Oval Office with both of the men who are running for president. I never expected that my successor would embrace my vision or continue my policies. I did hope, for the sake of our country, that Donald Trump might show some interest in taking the job seriously; that he might come to feel the weight of the office and discover some reverence for the democracy that had been placed in his care.”
Obama torches Donald Trump like American democracy depends on it. “They believe that in a democracy, the right to vote is sacred, and we should be making it easier for people to cast their ballots, not harder. They believe that no one — including the president — is above the law, and that no public official — including the president — should use their office to enrich themselves or their supporters.”
Obama practically accused Trump of corruption and abuse of power, saying Trump had “no interest in using the power of his office to help anyone but himself and his friends.”
Is Obama forgetting that President Trump is the only president who doesn’t take a salary for his position as president, so where is the enrichment?
“Along with the experience needed to get things done, Joe and Kamala have concrete policies that will turn their vision of a better, fairer, stronger country into reality.
“They will get this pandemic under control, like Joe did when he helped me manage H1N1 and prevent an Ebola outbreak from reaching our shores.”
It is inconceivable that Barack Obama and his clan harbor so much hate in their hearts toward President Donald Trump as to even accuse him of the Coronavirus (or Covid-19) spread.
All over the world, during the pandemic stage of the H1N1 virus which claimed nearly 15,000 lives, there were several unreported deaths; the World Health Organization (WHO) guessed that the mortality rate could have been over 18,000 deaths.
The Ebola pandemic, which originated in Congo in December 2013 and lasted till January of 2016 confirmed 28,646 cases and 11,323 deaths. Still, nobody has the audacity to blame Obama and Biden for so many lost lives.
“Joe and Kamala will restore our standing in the world — and as we’ve learned from this pandemic, that matters. Joe knows the world, and the world knows him. He knows that our true strength comes from setting an example that the world wants to follow. A nation that stands with democracy, not dictators.”
DICTATORS? Did I hear him say dictators? Wasn’t Barack Obama the one who traveled to Habana, Cuba on March 20, 2016 (with his whole family on his back) eight months before the death of Fidel Castro, to rub shoulders with the terrorists and communists, the dictators of Cuba?
Obama was the first US sitting president to visit Cuba since 1928, disregarding the feelings of Cuban-Americans that lost parents, children and friends at the firing squads or on the stretch of Florida trying to escape from the assassin hands of the Castro dictatorship.
Wasn’t it Obama’s State Department that gave a visa with swinging doors to Mariela Castro (the daughter of dictator Raul Castro) so she can come in and out of the United States to shop in the most exclusive stores of New York and buy properties in the State of Florida?
Well, as the saying goes, the donkey is speaking of long ears! “The commander-in-chief does not use the men and women of our military, who are willing to risk everything to protect our nation, as political props to deploy against peaceful protesters on our own soil.”
Is Mr. Obama naïve, or does he just pretend to be? No other president has supported our military more than Donald Trump. Peaceful protesters? People who attack other citizens, burn federal buildings, destroy businesses with their only intention being to vandalize and rob others’ property are not protesting peacefully under any circumstances.
It is believed that Mr. Barack Obama is one of the many who confuse democracy with being a democrat, with the only intention of brain-washing some in the country and getting his way regardless of the cost.
That is the benefit of living in an almost free country where one can speak his or her mind even if they are knowingly or deliberately lying.
