People complain about Las Vegas City Councilwoman Michele Fiore’s alleged statement, “If there’s a job opening and my white ass is more qualified than somebody’s black ass, then my white ass should get the job,” up to the point that a few weeks ago they spent almost four
hours waiting at a city hall meeting to have the opportunity to slander, insult and disrespect the councilwoman because they do not
agree with her way of thinking and because how dare she not agree with them.
Fiore should realize that she cannot disagree with these rebels; sheshould realize that she is wrong if she does not agree with them and
their Black Lives Matter that has become the Black version of the Ku Klux Klan.
Do you believe that Las Vegas City Council Michele Fiore is wrong and that there is equality as far as jobs are concerned? Of course not; Fiore is right all the way.
Those who have any doubt I will ask if they have watched the morning show on NBC called the Today Show lately? There were two ladies hosting the show—one white, Savannah Guthrie, and one black, Hoda Kotb—but today the format is different and black Hoda Kotb is still in the show, but white Savannah Guthrie has been replaced by a black male named Craig Melvin; and of course, the weatherman, black Al Rocker has been on the show for a very long time. The Today Show has become a Black news show and most of the people that are interviewed are black with a few exceptions.
Perhaps that is what the Las Vegas City Councilwoman was talking about, how most of the jobs are going to Blacks and other qualified
people are not getting hired because they are not black.
People cannot even talk anymore, because if they speak their mind and criticize someone who happens to be black they are going to confront and face the Black Lives Matter rebels even if the criticism has nothing to do with race.
I criticize many police actions, but that does not mean that I am criticizing all police officers, and as I said to many of them when I
thank them for their service, just because I don’t agree with the administration doesn’t mean that I don’t recognize that we, in Las
Vegas, have one of the best police departments in the nation—but not because of the leadership, but because of the qualified personnel that patrol our streets every day.
Just because I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with some bad apples like a very jealous police officer, B. Foster, badge number 16314, R. Lopez, and two more that I wouldn’t even dare ask their names when they had their rifles pointed at me, that does not mean that I dare to believe they are all alike.
I don’t need to name how many black friends I have because I do not need to prove myself, but just because I don’t like the Las Vegas City Councilman Cedric Crear it does not mean that I am a racist, after all my very first love was a black Cuban lady and my second and only love of my life was an Asian and Black young Cuban who I am still in contact with up to this day, even if it is only by telephone.
The same thing happens with other nationalities; I know some of my fellow Cubans that I hide from if I see them coming my way and every one that knows me is aware of how proud I am of my heritage and being a poor Cuban refugee.
My best friend, or at least my former best friend, is Mexican, from Mexico not from California, but that does not mean that I have to like all Mexicans; in fact one time during a lunch with my friend she told me many bad things about a friend of mine that happens to be Mexican like her.
I am no longer friends with City Councilwoman Michele Fiore because two of her supposed friends have turned her against me, but when I have to defend her, I take a great pleasure in doing so because I know she is a good public servant and a very dedicated public official.
I am an old-fashioned person; I accept my friends as they are, with their qualities and their faults because friends protect each other
and not use each other.
That is why I will do my best to make sure that Las Vegas City Councilman Cedric Crear will never become the first black mayor in Las
Vegas, because I believe that what he has done to City Councilwoman Michele Fiore is very low and very despicable.
