Beginning with Charles P. Frey, Sr., in 1953, the Frey family began their business 165 years ago as farmers, the backbone of the United States, with hard work and striving for perfection they grew to become known for their distinguished crafted Bourbon and Whiskey.
You will discover this whiskey is remarkable with every taste! I had the opportunity to taste Frey Ranches’ Whiskey Pairing at their virtual dinner event and immediately noted the difference! The quality and stand-out texture was the result of blending the perfect amount and mix of grains, their special recipe for the steps to a smooth flavorful taste.
Take time to discover the many qualities of Frey Ranches Whiskey and Bourbon. With Frey’s inner-knowledge of farming and growing these grains, they can preserve the quality every way from growing to making the whiskey. The usual three grains are corn, rye or wheat and malted barley but Frey uses four grains (non-GMO corn, winter cereal rye, winter wheat, and two-row barley) in contrast to Kentucky distillers.
The Frey’s take so much care and patience in growing the grains and releasing the barrels, just at the right time, this has built their good reputation. Aging is important to all spirits and Frey Ranch waits 4 -5 years for that process.
The Frey Ranch is located between Las Vegas and Reno, in Nevada. Located off of the 95 highway going South, Frey Ranch Estate Distillery produces gin, vodka, bourbon whiskey, and absinthe on their premises. Take 95 South to Dodge, turn left. The entrance to the farm has a tree lined road, large pond to the left, vineyards to the right. Address: 1045 Dodge Ln, Fallon, 89406, NV. Phone: (775) 423-4000.
