The South Point NASCAR Las Vegas 400 heats up the track for its Championship Series this weekend. NASCAR Grand Marshall and actor Cole Hauser as ‘Rip Wheeler’ accompanied by Yellowstone Cast members Denim Richards, ‘Colby’ and Ian Bohen ‘Ryan’ took center stage while castmates finish filming in Utah to cap Season 3.
Kevin Costner stars as a Montana rancher ‘John Dutton’ just signed for seven seasons. His band ‘Modern West’ was entertaining at a private party as part of the NASCAR festivities.
Jimmy Johnson is a racer in the field that is burning rubber for the trophy, but out of the money for this final seven series, Las Vegas is the first race of the final seven sponsored by Monster Energy for the Cup Series which culminates in November in Indianapolis including 16 drivers competing for the grand prize.
Racing is big business for Las Vegas, with 60,000 out-of-towners of the 70,000 fans total expected to generate $90 million in revenue projected for Valley businesses.
But the RV overflow parking filled with Trump and American flags supported the projection, with more RVs this year than last year.
Track officials commented at the media center attendance was up from last year.
