I was invited to review the “Legends in Concert” outdoor preview of their new show in front of the Tropicana Hotel celebrating their new home.
Previously debuting at the Imperial Palace and a long run appearing at the Flamingo Hotel and for a total of 35 years, “Legends in Concert”
proudly earned their title as the longest running show in Las Vegas.
Tonight some of the former tribute artists joined the newest performers on their temporary stage for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
It was a great line-up of talent, we saw Tierney Allen as Lady Gaga Tribute, Brian Duprey as Frank Sinatra, Cody Ray Slaughter as Elvis Presley, and Jazmine as Whitney Houston.
The public loves the idols’ songs that are handed 
down throughout the ages. It is so touching to hear songs that bring back the happy memories of your lives. The “Legends in Concert” tribute performers have studied their subjects, and most often sound and look like their idol. Watching the tribute is like reliving those times and the music of the past.
On February 11, the “Legends in Concert” opens formally in the “Legends in Concert Theater, formally the “Follies Bergere” Showroom. This is a great coupling, the “Folies Bergere” opened on Dec. 24, 1959 and closed in 2009, another Las Vegas favorite and “Legends” is bringing back the showgirls, the symbols of early Las Vegas.
“Legends” started their tributes early and now is the keystone of the Tribute movement, they have over 125+ tribute artists and you never know who will appear in their show!
INTERVIEW WITH TIERNEY ALLEN- LADY GAGA TRIBUTE ARTIST
Tierney Allen discussed the plans for her show, “I want to take Gaga, like the way she is and perform some old songs in a new way, upbeat, opening with her hits. I will play the piano and have a little fun with it.”
Tierney explained, “Someone told me I look like Lady Ga Ga and I made a job out of it! I didn’t realize the resemblance because Ga Ga was brand new, just starting to appear. I didn’t know who she was so I looked her up and said I like this person. I got some costumes and did a birthday party and started my tribute.
Lady Gaga is a consummate talent who can do everything, she sings, dances, acts, plays instruments, anything!”
