Pelosi may have called Mexicans immoral

After calling the wall that President Trump promised the American people during his presidential campaign immoral — and, as many had thought, that promise being one of the main things that gained the Republican candidate the winning of the presidency — it is now obvious that Mexico has a wall at its southern border with Guatemala, which begs the question: is Nancy Pelosi and her comrade Chuck Schumer also calling the Mexican government immoral for that very same reason and is why she is fighting to the point of having the government closed down?
The United States is today the only country without a border despite the fact that many Americans want and look forward to having a wall that can give the country the safety and protection that every country deserves and is entitled to.
Ironically, the two of them together have put in more than seventy years in their respective positions during a time when they both agreed with many other Democrats, including former Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada, that the wall is needed at the southern border due to the abuse Mexicans have brought up by entering the country illegally.
In 1993, it was former Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada — before he took on that leadership position in the Democratic Party — who recognized the problem caused by illegal immigration, and sought a solution to remedy the issue.
Hillary Clinton once said children who crossed the border illegally from Central America should be “sent back as soon as it can be determined who the responsible adults in their families are, because there are concerns as to whether all of them should be sent back. But I think all of them who can be should be reunited with their families.
…We have to send a clear message: just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay. So, we don’t want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey.”
In 2009 during a speech at the Immigration Law & Policy Conference at Georgetown Law, Senator Chuck Schumer stated, “First, illegal immigration is wrong,” then he went on to declare, “and a primary goal of comprehensive immigration reform must be to dramatically curtail future illegal immigration.”
Even the Democrats’ “Golden Boy,” former president Barack Obama, has a different tune on illegal immigration, stated during his very short time in the US Senate, while he was a US Senator: “We are a generous and welcoming people here in the United States,” Obama said in the 31-second clip. “But those who enter the country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those who are following the law.”
He added: “We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants into this country.”
In 2008 Nancy Pelosi openly expressed her sentiment on illegal immigrants and was quoted as saying, “Because we do need to address the issue of immigration and the challenge we have of undocumented people in our country, we certainly do not want any more coming in.”
In 2013, Pelosi reiterated her support for the border security, urging the House to vote for a bill that would address “our basic principles” such as securing “our borders.”
But despite her previous views, hypocrisy by both Schumer and Pelosi slammed Trump for highlighting the issue of immigration and the caravan heading to the U.S., giving the impression that it is not to favor illegal immigrants, but just to go against whatever President Donald Trump had promised to the American people during the 2016 election that none of them expected or wanted him to win.
The fact is that every country has walls, borders or whatever other name they may want to give to it, but every country is entitled to enforce their laws as they please.
It has always been the opinion of this publication that there is no need for “immigration reform” and on many occasions we have suggested that all they have to do is enforce the laws that already exist; but if the government is not happy with the laws that the government has created, they could copy and use the immigration laws of their counterpart in Mexico.
In Mexico if you enter the country illegally you get arrested; if you are in Mexico illegally, you cannot own a business, buy a house or own any property; in fact we believe that it is not your immigration status but simply if you are not Mexican that you cannot open a business unless there is a partnership with a native. And the children of an immigrant cannot attend school or go to a hospital if they are not legally in the country.
So some of the questions to Speaker Nancy Pelosi may be why is it immoral for this nation to have a border wall and it is not immoral for others to have a border wall; why it is okay for the privileged like her, former President Barack Obama and many other socialist democrats to have a significant wall at their private residence yet not for American people to have a wall at the border to protect us and to keep out those who can cause us harm, people who hurt and abuse us, people with diseases and people with no resources that want to come in and be taken care of by the American people.
