Katie Kenner, female star of “Sex Tips for a Straight Woman from a Gay Man” (Paris) nominated for Casino Production Show of the Year, explained, “The show is a little piece of New York in Las Vegas with a little romance, a little raunchy, and a lot of fun.”
Just enjoyed the Ink Spots in Las Vegas a few years ago and now they are back. “Which of your famous songs was the greatest hit of that time?”
Edward Stancil, spokesman for the Ink Spots answered, “If I Didn’t Care.”
Sandy, “What do you think of the changes in music today?”
Edward, “With the re-occurrence of R&B by Bruno Mars and others and rise of Do-op coming back, our music is popular again. We appear in Las Vegas at the Aliante Hotel on December 9.”
Sandy, “That is perfect, just before Christmas to enjoy the beautiful Ink Spot songs!
I thought it was Sean Connery, but his look alike, Dennis Keogh, stood out in a crowd!
Next, three of the cast of the new show, “Motown Extreme” (Hooters), which just opened at Hooters. They call the show “Extreme” because their 13 year-old star.

The attendees were anxious to see Platinum Recording Artists the Righteous Brothers receive the 2018 Casino Entertainment Lifetime Legend Award. I reviewed the Righteous Brothers, Bobby Hatfield and Bill Medley, since arriving in Las Vegas in 1985 and loved their show throughout the years. The warmth of their friendship and personalized vocals were a delight to see!
After Bobby Hatfield passed away in 2003, Bill Medley appeared with his son and the beautiful songs “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin”, “Unchained Melody”, “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin” and others have continued throughout the years. Medley’s new partner Bucky Heard joined him for the award.
