“Cleavers Offers a Meal to Remember”

I was invited to the Media/VIP opening of Cleavers, Las Vegas’ newest American steakhouse for a private media event.

 First, I want to mention my first impressions of entering Cleavers.

The moment you step into Cleavers Steakhouse, you’ll experience all of the elegance and class reminiscent of Las Vegas’ early steakhouses- the sparkling chandeliers, the gilded pictures, dark wooden walls and paneling with all of the accouterments of the 80’s when I arrived in Las Vegas.

Take time to sooth your nerves, don’t rush, you’ll feel calm and carefree in this serene atmosphere. Cleavers is a true dining experience!   

Cleavers even offers a few surprises to delight their guests with bigger than life-size portraits of Bill Murray in the “Murray Room”, Chris Farley, in the “Chris Farley Corner” of their bar/lounge with smaller versions of Betty White, Patrick Swayze, Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, and other celebrity heads each fitted into historic naval uniforms near the booths.

The ambiance and other decorative touches mean so much and add to the enjoyment of the meal.   

If you are seeking a steakhouse par excellence, Cleaver’s great selection of large, and extra-large portions will delight you! Their mega-sized portions of steaks include 9 ounce and 14 ounce Filet Mignons, 14 ounce New York Strip, 16 ounce Kansas City, 18 ounce Rib-eye, 32 ounce Tomahawk Rib-eye, XXL 60 ounce Rib-eye (feeds 3-5) and the special 120 ounce Cleaver Rib-eye (Feeds 5-8). 

I especially enjoy a thick pork chop, with Cleaver’s bone-in, 12 ounce Pork Chop and luscious Double-cut 16 ounce Pork Chops are much like biting into a steak, so very tender.     

You have a choice of Seafood Platters for two, four or the ultra-indulgent Cleaver Platter with Lobster Tails (3), Alaskan King Crab Legs (8), Tiger Shrimp (16), Oysters on the Half Shell (16), Oyster Shooters (6), and Tuna Tartare.

You may be surprised to find such a wide selection of seafood in a steakhouse.

In addition to the Seafood Platters, there’s many more alternatives for your palate. Try their Chilean Sea Bass Cherry Lamb Chop, Stuffed Whole Lobster, Seared Sea Bass, and pasta made in-house.
