There is something new happening between the Quad Hotel (formally the Imperial Palace) and the Flamingo Hotel. The Linq shopping center offers entertainment, dining, stores and nightlife.
This columnist received an invitation to celebrate the opening of the Yard House Restaurant at the Linq. Their preview event allowed guests to sample the food, cocktails and extensive draught beer offerings.
Daniel Wright, General Manager, explained, “The Yard House Restaurant’s offers a large menu which includes vegetarian selections and dishes under 600 calories for the health conscious

We call our cuisine American fusion with Latino, Asian and Mediterranean influences. We even feature New Orleans Jambalaya.
You make the Yard House what you want it to be, a romantic meal or bring the kids.
This Yard House Restaurant measures 22,000 square feet, the largest of the chain. The dining room offers sections with two, three and more chairs together for couples, friends and family.
Their Street Taco plates are reminiscent of the street vendors selling their tacos in Mexico.”
Try hummus, sweet potato fries, sashimi, Caribbean coconut shrimp or a wide selection of other starters and appetizers.
The menu shows two prices for either small or large portions. They serve salads as a starter or an entrée.
The Gardein menu offers a chicken or beef substitute made from soy, wheat, pea proteins, vegetables and ancient grains.
Eleven different burgers range from a pepper-crusted Gorgonzola burger to turkey burger, surf and turf Maine lobster burgers and others.
Guests can choose grilled pastrami, seared ahi steak or any of 10 sandwiches.
Have you ever heard of a Thai Chicken Pizza? Among the other pizzas, the four cheese pizza is topped with fontina, ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
The 12 ounce rib eye or 5-7 and 8 ounce filet satisfies steak lovers.
The Linq High Roller observation wheel, 550 feet high, makes it the largest observation wheel in the world, the epic High Roller is the crown jewel of The Linq.
