Celebrate mom and give her a “pizza” your heart this Mother’s Day at Evel Pie’s pizza-making classes on Saturday, May 13. Held on Evel Pie’s newly opened back patio and hosted by general manager and award-winning Pizzaiolo Vincent Rotolo, guests will learn the secret to making authentic New York-style pizza at home.
“Most places host an ordinary Mother’s Day brunch, but I wanted to celebrate Evel-style and make our celebration a bit more interactive and fun,” said Rotolo. “Our team has such a deep connection growing up making pizza with our families. Pizza-making shaped who we are, and we wanted to share this tradition and passion with the guests that attend the classes.”
Open to all ages, attendees will learn techniques on dough making, pizza stretching, baking and topping selection. Moms will also enjoy complimentary bellini’s and mimosa’s. Families will be treated to a special guest appearance, prizes and Evel Pie swag. As a parting gift, each person will be sent home with dough to make a New York pie in their own kitchen.
Two classes will be held on Saturday, May 13 with the first session scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and the second session scheduled from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for two people.

The duo recognized the band for its second residency at the award-winning entertainment venue, as well as the property’s memorabilia curator, Beau Dobney, who masterfully created the three displays.
Following the Journey case unveiling, Schon revealed his own display case, featuring two of his signature Paul Reed Smith guitars, a hand-tailored suit, shoes, sunglasses and a custom Journey plaque presented to Schon commemorating nearly 50 million U.S. album sales.
