I have a friend whose nickname is “Dollars in my pocket,” but still she calls herself a socialist. I wonder how many people know the difference between socialism and communism. The definition of socialism is well known as the first step in the process of developing the productive forces to achieve abundance and changing the mental and spiritual outlook of the people — the necessary transition stage from capitalism to Communism.
I wonder what my friend will do when she realizes that if the government becomes communistic, it will make her poor when it robs her of her land, her home, her property, and slashes her pay to share it with people she doesn’t even know.
As Sarah Palin once said, Socialism is well defined in redistributing; in confiscating the hard-earned dollars of our small businessmen and -women so that they cannot reinvest their dollars and hire more people and grow and expand.
I wonder how many people ever bother to retrieve information and quotes from well-known communist leaders of the past. Do they remember the words of Nikita Khrushev, who led the Soviet Union during part of the Cold War? He said, when he appeared at the United Nations in 1959 and banged his shoe on the table: “Your children’s children will live under Communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept Communism outright; but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won’t have to fight you; WE’LL SO WEAKEN YOUR ECONOMY until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.”
That is exactly what is happening to the United States; and the sad part of it is that the American people are totally blind and naive. Our country is going down the drain per second.
Is this what we want for our country?
It was also Nikita Khrushev who once said, “We will bury you; of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you.”
I can understand people coming to the United States looking for economical and financial gain because their own country’s government is not doing a thing to help them prosper under their own capabilities. I can understand that they believe they can come here to demand rights they were supposed to demand in their own country, but they didn’t have the guts to fight for what they deserve from their own government.
They come here looking for what our new president is promising them — equality and prosperity — and nothing else.
There is no such thing as actual equality; we are all different, and proof of it is that there are four different races — or at least that was taught to us in elementary school. And prosperity depends on the efforts of the individual.
The first thing that socialism does is to control a person’s mind. This is what’s happening in our great nation today under President Obama’s promises of change and hope, getting people to believe in his promises. We are now going from bad to worse.
Maybe some of those naive people can learn from the Cuban and Venezuelan situation. Cuba was the best island in the Caribbean with the best freeways, buildings and employment situation, even for American people doing business on the island. Fidel Castro promised the narrow-minded people a better life with lots of luxury, and they got nothing but poverty and misery.
The Venezuelan military was well known around the world as being made up of “macho men” with lots of courage, dignity and integrity, and they ended up being nothing but little mice under the control of a man dominated by the Cuban dictators. The first thing Hugo Chavez did in Venezuela was to raise the salaries of the military in order to have them under his boot. The few bolivares he raised their salaries did nothing to make up for their lost integrity and pride in what they did; and that whole thing is now— or should be — a big embarrassement to the government,
There is no such thing as equality, and this is an issue people need to understand. If a person works all his life to make a fortune for his children and the rest of his family, it doesn’t need to be shared with someone else who never worked in his or her life.
Socialism is one step from Communism and that brings nothing but poverty and oppresion to countries of the world for the benefit of the ones in power.
To all those of you who still believe in the false words of “change and hope,” please wake up because we are going down the path of misery and poverty.
