to interview the Senator while he was in Las Vegas last week.
Larraz, who has interviewed almost every political figure in Nevada with the exception of Republican Governor Brian Sandoval, wanted to interview the Florida Senator while in Las Vegas last week for his popular radio show and the newspaper he founded 18 years ago.
The newsman, personally, made all the calls looking for a phone number to someone who could set up the interview, but the efforts were unsuccessful because there was no telephone number listed anywhere, except for one office in the middle of Florida State.
The telephone number listed for the junior senator’s Washington D.C. office was answered by an electronic device that does not have space to leave a message for anyone in the office.
When he finally got an answer in one of the offices in mid-Florida State and tried to explain to the telephone operator that he “doesn’t want to cause a problem for anyone” knowing that some government offices are not allowed to mix the supposedly “official” calls with the campaign calls, but he has been trying to contact the Senator
while in Las Vegas to interview him after learning that he has met the Senator’s father many years ago while working as a bar-boy at a local casino.
“I was very surprised to see the similarity between Harry Reid and Marco Rubio’s modus operandi, said Larraz, a long time critic of the Nevada Senior Senator and former Majority Leader. “Not even Harry ever filed that type of report against me because everyone knows that I am not a violent man,” said Larraz, after exiting the meeting with the FBI agent that visited his office investigating the Senator’s concern for his safety.
“I tried to contact the Senator’s office but no phone numbers were available on his website and the one to his Senate office in D.C. was answered by an electronic device with no room to leave a message,” explained Larraz.
“In one of the Florida offices, I spoke with Brittany Corfman, a staff assistant, who informed me that there was no telephone number she could give me, but she did offer me an email address. She sent me the email address of Kristen Morrell, and now I am waiting for Ms. Morrell to get back to me, but I will not hold my breath,” Larraz wrote, as he ended his front page weekly column before he learned of the FBI report from a family member that called his office with concerns about his well-being.
A Las Vegas Tribune spokesperson believes that the Senator’s office has been influenced by some relatives and friends of the Junior Senator who may have told Rubio that the Las Vegas Tribune has shown preferences for three other presidential candidates, but not for Rubio.
However, all the articles written by Las Vegas Tribune that appeared on Google and other search engines shows nothing but positive articles about the Florida Senator of Cuban descent, something that was not found when it came to Texas Senator Ted Cruz, also of Cuban descent, whom Larraz had criticized because the elder Cruz, Reverend Rafael Cruz, has a history with Fidel Castro and his communist government.
The FBI report originating out of Rubio’s office, has prompted Larraz and the newspaper to dig deeper into the Senator’s background instead of following Larraz’s sentiment that he is very proud to see someone with “Cuban blood running for president of this great nation,” as he has referred to Rubio, until he found that Rubio lied about his
parents’ arrival in this country and the possibility that his — just as Cruz’s father — were connected to the Castro underground revolution.
The late president Ronald Reagan and the Florida Junior Senator Marco Rubio are the only two high-ranking elected officials that have taken Larraz out of his office; he is very seldom seen in public and almost never at crowded events.
Ironically, at the same time that the Las Vegas Tribune founder was accused unjustifiably of “going to shoot” the Florida Senator, former Democrat President Bill Clinton and husband of the Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton was quoted by author Ed Klein saying that Marco Rubio has to be destroyed, but no report was filed against the former
president for threatening the younger senator’s life. If saying that Rubio has to be destroyed is not a threat, we have no idea what it is.
During this last trip to Las Vegas, Rubio was not able to gather more than 500 people at his events and most of them Democrats; and a life-long Democrat now working for Jeb Bush, another Republican candidate and member of the Bush Dynasty of two former U.S. presidents, his father and brother.
Ninety people associated in one way or another with the Clinton Clan, including an attorney working for Hillary Clinton, are now dead, with reasons attributed to suicide, plane crash, car accident or to “natural causes”; eighty-one alone died during President Clinton’s two terms in office.
“If I were Marco Rubio, I would be more concerned with the statements from the Clinton’s camp than poor little me,” said Larraz when told about this article.
