The Le Ka Restaurant takes advantage of southern California’s comfortable year-round weather.
Guests walk through the gated entrance into the lower patio.
Its focal point is the large flaming fireplace in the wall.
Take a few steps to the adjoining upper patio.
The couches and a glassed-fire pit feel as though you are sitting at home in your living room.
The fireplace and fire pit have a romantic vibe.
Inside the main dining room the 20-footwall of windows provides natural light.
Chef Tony Tea, Chef de Cuisine, explained the difference in their French California cuisine. “We liven up each dish.
Our food is out of the norm.
It is not the common every day meal yet we don’t manipulate the food too much.
The flavors provide guests with a unique taste enjoyment.
I slow cook different cuts of brisket for a traditional American meal.
Guests enjoy brisket, a simple dish that takes a few hours to cook and is served with horseradish and sauce.
There are two types of crab mixed in one dish, each cooked their own way”.
Other entrees are halibut ala plancha, Boston clams, king salmon, grilled rack and striped bass.
They offer many choices.
You can either share small plates and starters, or order one if you do not have a big appetite.
Le Ka has a vegan starter with no cream, fat or pork products.
Let the vegetables each shine on their own.
The starters include Jidori chicken wings, Bruschetta of duck Rillette, Bruleed kampachi, organic tofu, spicy lamb sausage and more.
Guests can select from Italian, Spanish and Californian cheeses.
The pizzas range from Italian, French and Italian-styles.
Le Ka has so many areas to have a party.
Besides the main dining room, there are three private and semiprivate dining rooms, the two outside patios, and event areas for up to 500 people.
Hours: Monday – Friday 11 a.m. – 2 a.m.;
