There is no doubt that we are living in a world full of hate and resentment. Last week a lunatic who, more than a year after the election, was still supporting Bernie Sanders, targeted several Republican members of Congress in a horrific act of violence — when in reality the only person who pushed Sanders to the side without mercy was Hillary Clinton.
Republican members of Congress were at a baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia for a game to take place against Democrat members of Congress, with the profits from tickets sold to go to charity.
If not for the Capitol Police who stopped the gunman, many among them and their aides might be dead. The gunman himself later died from gunshot wounds.
Louisiana representative Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, was critically wounded when a bullet went through his left hip, shattering several bones and hitting some organs, which caused internal hemorrhaging. Thanks to the Good Lord who heard all the prayers sent his way, his condition after several surgeries in just one week has been upgraded from critical to serious. And he continues to recover.
I was totally shocked when I read the tweet from a former prosecutor in Louisiana, Sonia Gupta, who released so much hate from every pore in her body that it was scary. She wrote, “Before you start dropping to your knees to pray for Steve Scalise, remember that he is a racist piece of sh*t and hateful bigot.”
Boy, the donkey talking about other’s ears — how dare this woman even use the word “hateful” when she has so much hate ingrained in her every pore. I wonder how many innocent people this woman, as a prosecutor, has sent to prison.
We all need prayers, at one time or another, in our lives. We are not immune to fatalities, and there is a possibility that this Sonia Gupta — in the near future — will need prayers from all of us. She needs to remember that there is something called KARMA and it might hunt her down when she least expects it.

Prayers for the parents of Otto Warmbier
The first thing that comes to our minds is what that young man, Otto Warmbier, was thinking when he decided to visit North Korea, even though in some news reports it is claimed that he also visited North Korea in 2015.
Young people do things that for the rest of us are not normal. You need to be insane to visit a country ruled by the devil. And the devil is inside the mind and body of Kim Jong-un. It has been known all over the world that in 2013 he ordered the execution of his uncle, Jang Song-thaek. Also, that he ordered the killing of his own brother, Kim Jong-nam, in Malaysia. If a person can do such a thing to his own family, just imagine what he can do to the rest of us. In my most humble opinion I would not be surprised if he had also killed his father for the love of power.
In recent reports, it was stated that Otto Warmbier became sick the day after his trial when he was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor.
The North Korean government claims he was sick with botulism. In my narrow mind, those crazy people killed him.
You don’t need to have a medical degree to know that botulism requires immediate emergency care, something that Otto Warmbier was not granted.
As I said, you don’t need to go to medical school to know the symptoms of botulism: Difficulty swallowing or speaking, dry mouth, facial weakness on both sides of the face, drooping eyelids, paralysis, trouble breathing, nausea, vomiting and abdominal cramps — if the cause is foodborne botulism, from the ingestion of foods contaminated with botulinum neurotoxin.
I feel very sorry for the young man who in my opinion was intentionally poisoned by the North Koreans, but at least he did not die alone; he was with his family. The ones I feel most deeply for are his parents. I don’t know the family, and I never knew Otto Warmbier, but I pray that the Good Lord will bring them some peace of mind and consolation to their hearts and souls.
