This two-day festival brings together consumers, craft beer vendors, live music, great food and hundreds of beers in two very different events. The first event kicks off Friday, Oct. 10 from 7-10 p.m. in The Grand Events Center. TROPICANA FILLED WITH LAUGHTER THIS WEEK
The New Tropicana should be filled with laughter beginning Monday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, when Wild Willy Parsons’ takes the stage at the Laugh Factory. Parson will be sharing the comedy clubs stage with Chris Newberg, and host Brett Riley.

Wednesdays Downtown will return to Fremont East Entertainment District starting on Wednesday, Oct. 8. The weekly event unites local businesses to transform the area into a festive block party featuring a Food Truck Village, Painters Lounge, the “World’s Greatest Happy Hour by Coors,” Silent Disco and more, from 6 p.m. to midnight. The fall series of Wednesdays Downtown will run through the end of October.
At 9:30 p.m. spectators will enjoy the Downtown Dirty Bar Fight sponsored by Death’s Door Spirits. During the competition, bartenders will battle for an ultimate grand prize, a trip to Death’s Door Distillery in Washington Island, Wisconsin.

The world-famous Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas is the longest-running comedy club on the Las Vegas Strip. The Improv’s ability to showcase young comedians, as well as bring in big names, has attributed to its longevity and success.
Each week, The Improv showcases some of the funniest and freshest faces in comedy, creating a show that is always unique and definitely funny. The comedians who will perform Sept. 30 — Oct. 5 are: Kivi Rogers: Kivi Rogers was born to be in the spotlight. Rogers has made guest apperances on many television programs including “The West Wing,” “Dharma and Greg,” Home Improvement” and “Everybody Loves Raymond.” He performed at the prestigious “HBO/US Comedy Arts Festival” in Aspen and on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam.” Rogers has performed at nearly 1,000 colleges nationwide.
Mike Wilmot: For more than a decade, Mike Wilmot has built up a reputation as an unsung hero of the UK comedy scene. Wilmot has made many appearance on comedy shows in the UK, including BBC 1’s “ Not Going Out” and “28 Acts in 28 Minutes.” Wilmot is an internationally-acclaimed Canadian comedian and Time Out Comedy Award
Alycia Cooper: Alycia Cooper, stand-up comedian and writer, is the first female comic to perform on “The Mo’Nique Show.” Cooper has been on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” “The Tyra Banks Show” and BET’s “Comicview.” She currently holds the title as the first female audience warm-up for several sitcoms. Cooper has also ghost-written
for some of the biggest comedians in the business.
