The Rainforest Café’s exotic atmosphere is matched by their unique blends of flavors and the creativeness of Chef Adam Payne, Kitchen Manager.
Chef Adam explained, “We tale a little from here and there and make it our own. The Hawaiian promotional Rainforest menu’s Taste of the Islands includes Caribbean Coconut Shrimp, mix Dynamite Scallops and Shrimp along with blackened Tilapia topped with a Mango Salsa. The Dynamite sauce has a tang without taking your head off, it’s a little sweet.
Our Meatloaf is made into a Rainforest Hawaiian Maui Meatloaf special with hard-boiled egg, BBQ sauce and Maui fried onions, mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy.”
Sandy, “I’m a travel writer and feel there is nothing like your cuisine anywhere in the United States or the world! It is an Experience to dine at the Rainforest Café! I noticed you have several ways to prepare each of your entrees.”
Chef Adam added, “We try to be inventive – it’s always fun to take a traditional item and put a twist on it. A big thing for us, the Rainforest caters to allergies and chef’s visits to the tables to make sure everybody’s got proper information in the food they are getting. We also offer vegan and vegetarian selections and cater to everyone.”
Sandy, “I think the BBQ ribs, steak and coconut shrimp combo is great! What a combination! You offer so many choices and we can substitute dishes!
Everything looks as good as it tastes! Your grilled Mahi Mahi is prepared with a Teriyaki glaze with fresh Pineapple Salsa and broccoli and Taro Chips.
The Rainforest Café’s Signature menu offers appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads, pasta, as well as seafood, beef, pork and chicken entrees.”
Chef Adam expanded on the menu, “Our Pastalaya is a twist on Jambalaya with linguini or rice.
