It is a fact that some judges who are members of the David Thomas judicial stable in Clark County Courts may not be corrupted, and the Las Vegas Tribune has never accused them of such a fault.
This newspaper has been, for as long as it has existed, against the monopoly that campaign-controller David Thomas exercises over the majority of his clients; that is a fact and the newspaper’s higher management is not hiding or denying that fact.
Las Vegas Tribune has found only three sitting judges that had committed themselves to appear on the Las Vegas Tribune radio station and accepted an invitation to speak to the editorial board.
During a visit to the Regional Justice Center a few months ago, the Las Vegas Tribune was approached by Justice Court Judge Bita Yeager, AKA Bita Khamsi, who reminded the newspaper that she was appointed to the bench and was now a judge; she wanted the newspaper to interview her and wanted to be invited to the Face The Tribune radio show, gave us her card and asked us to call to set up a date. There is an attorney who witnessed the entire conversation.
Justice Court Judge Beta Yeager, AKA Beta Khamsi, never returned any of the newspaper’s calls, her court is always closed, and during a Lenten conversation with her Judicial Executive Assistant, he assured the caller that the judge will call back, but Justice Court Judge Beta Yeager, AKA Beta Khamsi, the JEA forgot to tell the newspaper representative not to hold his breath.
During our conversation, we asked the Judicial Executive Assistant to Justice Court Judge Beta Yeager, AKA Beta Khamsi, who her campaign manager was, and he said he did not know, but a few days later we learned that she belonged to David Thomas’ stable.
The Las Vegas Tribune no longer endorses candidates; instead, when the newspaper believes that a candidate deserves to be in the position for which he or she is running, it will go to bat for that candidate to be elected or re-elected.
The newspaper has been getting away from endorsements because of the lack of credibility and benefit to the candidates such endorsements offer nowadays, what with both social media and direct contact with voters being the big thing — both of which campaign controllers do not like, and only offer that opportunity to either KVVU Channel 5 or the media group of their choice.
The Las Vegas Tribune has a higher opinion of well known local attorney Amy Chelini and during the newspaper’s endorsement era, she was endorsed by the newspaper and on several occasions while at the Regional Justice Center she expressed her desire for being a guest on radiotribune.com, perhaps not knowing that she was not allowed to do
Then there is Anat Levy who moved to Las Vegas to run for District Court Department 20 because she is “too good to be in Justice Court” as she said during a lunch meeting with a local judge. Anat Levy’s “handler,” after smoking the peace pipe and begging for Dave Thomas’ forgiveness, turned her onto Thomas’ stable hoping that she could become a judge to fulfill his dream of dating a judge.
It would be unfair to forget the North Las Vegas City Attorney that blackmailed the city of North Las Vegas by refusing to sign the bench warrants until she was confirmed as the city attorney.
Now Sandra Morgan, AKA Sandra Douglas, AKA Sandra Douglas Morgan, became a puppet of North Las Vegas mayor, John Lee, David Thomas, and his new sidekick, former Secretary of State and the loser of the Attorney General election, Ross Miller, and she is being placed to run against the same judge that refused to enforce the search warrants that Sandra Morgan, AKA Sandra Douglas, AKA Sandra Douglas Morgan, refused to sign until she was confirmed officially as the North Las Vegas City Attorney. She is now a member of the David Thomas stable.
Dave Thomas judges are not corrupted judges; they are simply controlled by him, manipulated by him, and in other words, can be considered wimps that do not deserve to sit on the bench and rule on the life of those who appear before them.
