Due to the recent early morning shooting incident that occurred along Las Vegas Boulevard, tonight’s celebratory arrival event for Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino headliner CeeLo Green has been postponed. Planet Hollywood and CeeLo extend sincerest sympathies to those impacted by today’s incident. A new date for the arrival ceremony is being scheduled. CeeLo will open his stage spectacular “CeeLo Green is LOBERACE” next Wednesday, Feb. 27.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET CELEBRATED OPENING NIGHT FEB. 19
MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET opened at Harrah’s Las Vegas Feb. 19 to an enthusiastic, full house in the Harrah’s Showroom. The smash-hit production is inspired by extraordinary true story of the fateful evening that brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together for one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll jam sessions in history.
The performance had the crowd movin’ and shakin’ as the cast rocked out to nostalgic hits such as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “I Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire,”“Sixteen Tons,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Fever,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Hound Dog,” and more.
The talented cast includes Robert Britton Lyons as Carl Perkins, Benjamin D. Hale as Johnny Cash, Martin Kaye as Jerry Lee Lewis, Tyler Hunter as Elvis Presley, Marc D. Donovan as Sam Phillips, and Felice Garcia as Dyanne, Mikey Hachey as Jay Perkins (Bass Player) and Jim Belk as Fluke (Drummer). Director Eric Schaeffer, Musical Director Chuck Mead, and Author Colin Escott were also in the showroom supporting the cast.
Notable names in attendance opening night included Holly Madison, Claire Sinclair (2011 Playboy Playmate of the Year), Ricardo Laguna (Professional BMX Rider and MTV Tr3s Personality), Rita Rudner (Comedienne), Orel Hershiser (MLB Hall of Famer), Jabbawockeez (World Famous Dance Crew), and Chef Carla Pellegrino (Owner of Bratalian and Meatball Spot).

BOYZ II MEN BRING ‘MOTOWN PHILLY’ STYLE TO THE MIRAGE
Four-time GRAMMY Award-winning R&B vocal group Boyz II Men announced today it will begin an extended residency at The Mirage Hotel & Casino beginning March 1, 2013. The trio, featuring baritone Nathan Morris alongside tenors Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, will perform 78 shows in the Terry Fator Theatre on select weekend dates March 1, 2013 thru December 29, 2013.
“We’ve been dreaming of this day since we performed an extended holiday show two years ago in Las Vegas,” said Nathan Morris, founding member of Boyz II Men. “We’re thrilled to start 2013 with this amazing announcement and want to thank The Mirage and everyone who has made this dream a reality for us. Formed in 1990, Boyz II Men holds the distinction of being the best-selling R&B group of all time with more than 60 million albums sold worldwide. “THE PHAT PACK” IS RETURNING TO THE PLAZA
THE PHAT PACK, a new hit musical show in Las Vegas, has announced their return to the showroom at the Plaza Hotel & Casino.
The show is set to re-open on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 after a 10 week layoff. THE PHAT PACK, which opened in November 2012 to rave reviews, closed down on January 1st, 2013 for showroom renovations.
“We are excited to be back at the Plaza, in this classic showroom that is just perfect for our show!” said Bruce Ewing, one of the three PHAT PACK singers.

REALITY STAR COCO SIGNS EXTENSION TO REMAIN IN PEEPSHOW
Las Vegas’ only striptease spectacular, PEEPSHOW at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is proud to announce that E!’s “Ice Loves Coco” reality star, business entrepreneur and glamour/fitness model, Coco Austin has signed a four-month contract extension to continue her headlining role as “Bo Peep” in PEEPSHOW through July 28.
Coco took on the “Bo Peep” role in December, quickly receiving praise from both fans and critics for her sizzling stage presence and dancing ability. “Coco Austin shines as the new star of Peepshow in Vegas,” said Caroline Fontein, writer for Vegas.com. Punk rock greats, The Adicts, come to Hard Rock Cafe with special guests on Friday, March 15.
The Adicts are one of the most easily recognizable punk bands of all time. Formed in the mid-70’s in England, the band quickly became known for their live performances and distinctive A Clockwork Orange influenced image. Their flamboyant appearance and high energy, up-tempo music and light-hearted lyrics helped set The Adicts apart from the rest of the genre.

LEGENDARY RHYTHM GUITARIST BOB WEIR TO PERFORM SOLO
Guitarist and vocalist Bob Weir will perform an exciting solo, acoustic show at The Pearl Concert Theater inside Palms Casino Resort on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $42, plus additional service fees. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 25 at noon.
For nearly 50 years, Bob Weir has been known for being the most distinctive rhythm guitarist in rock ‘n’ roll. Influenced by hard bop pianist McCoy Tyner, John Coltrane and Igor Stravinsky, Weir has brought unusual depth and a new approach to the role of rhythm guitar expression over the years.
At age 17, Weir became the co-founder, guitarist and vocalist of the improvisational jam band Grateful Dead. The band enjoyed a 30-year career with songs written by Weir, including “Truckin’,” “Sugar Magnolia” and “Cassidy.” Weir also found success apart from the group, releasing his first solo album Ace in 1972 and playing in a number of other bands such as Kingfish, Bob Weir Band, Bobby and the Midnites, Scaring the Children, RatDog and Furthur. In 1994, Weir and his band mates of Grateful Dead were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2007 they were honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
