When you drive along the unspoiled forests and coastline of Northern California, you’ll see the difference. It is refreshing to get away from the traffic and crowds of the big cities to the villages and small towns.
Surrounded by nature, the Brewery Gulch Inn, located in Mendocino, sits on a secluded bluff among three acres of natural playground for their guests. Here, at the Inn, guests enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean and Smuggler’s Cove from the dining room, patio and rooms.
Guy Pacurar, Brewery Gulch Inn Proprietor, explained, “We have a great location overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Smugglers Cove. The Inn was built in 2001 out of red reclaimed wood with 10 beautiful, unique rooms and one suite. Our great chef prepares breakfast and wine tasting supper which is included with the room.”
You will see buildings from the 1850’s in the historic district, downtown Mendocino. The current population is ONLY 1,097 or 1,008 people depending where you measure.”
Everything you want is in one building- the Great Room combines games and dining room with a place to relax and meet the guests, a souvenir store and outside patio. Keeping with the nature theme, the upstairs rooms are named after birds and trees downstairs.
I felt so comfortable at the Inn, their friendly atmosphere made everyone feel at home away from home. The Raven room was rustic with luxurious touches, a corner room with the ocean in front, trees on the right and view of the mountains from the front of the Inn.
The Brewery Gulch Inn brings first class accommodations and meals combined with nature’s setting.
