Northern California Inns are like intimate, boutique luxury hotels awaiting your pleasure. Just 2-1/2 hours north of San Francisco and you are in another world!
You will enjoy all-you-can-eat gourmet breakfast and dinner with wine tasting included with the room at the Brewery Gulch Inn!
I was thrilled to see such an interesting dinner menu the first night, the buffet table was filled with roasted, boneless Chicken sliced over Glass Noodles with Curry Sauce, Garlicky Jasmine White Rice with Toasted Pine Nuts and Green Onions, Kung Pao Vegetables in sweet Chile Sauce, Napa Cabbage Thai Salad with Sweet Ginger Dressing on the side, seeded Batard & sweet Butter and Pink Apple Crisp for dessert.
Executive Chef Margaret J. Davis loves the northern California lifestyle and is always conscious of healthy cooking, “I have a strong Mediterranean training background lending itself to clean cooking Californians have embraced for over 30 years. We all love good olive oil.
The Brewery Gulch Inn offers organic selections you won’t find elsewhere. There is strength of wellness from organic food, the good feeling you get from knowing you ate the right food. This is very much part of life up here. We have embraced the non-GMO concept long ago.
Our food is from local farms depending where the sun’s warm and what’s ripe now.
Because of our guest’s diets and health needs, I serve sauces on the side, macrobiotic desserts, vegan and vegetarian options. If a guest is allergic to nitrates, nuts or, you name it, I can do it.
Part of my training as a Certified Chef at a property like this was a two year certificate from culinary school and my internship at the 5-star, 5 diamond Ritz Carlton Hotel, in San Francisco. I also had a pastry specialty, something I bring to the Brewery Gulch Inn.
In a 4-Diamond way, it is our privilege and pleasure to spoil our clientele.”
