The Aquaknox Restaurant’s Wine Tower is a work of art. It is an elegant one-of-a-kind walk-in wine tower with enough space inside for a private room with one table seating up to four people. This is a romantic setting for a proposal or special celebration.

Inside the diners would be surrounded by the Aquaknox collection of more than 2,000 bottles of wines from around the world.

This wine showcase is designed with special mood lighting.

Melody Torres, Operations Manager, feels, “I’m obsessed with food and I love food. We have a team from the kitchen to the front of the restaurant that is passionate about the food.

This is an environment where excellence is expected of them. Our staff is committed to creating a unique experience for the guests.

When the server greets the guests at the table, he or she asks if they have any allergies. They all are knowledgeable about the ingredients in dishes. We cater to every guest individually.”

Executive Chef Steve Aguglia explained, “The flavor and texture of the seafood and shellfish should shine and not be masked.

We make our sauces more interesting to complement without overpowering the food.

All seafood is flown in fresh and doesn’t leave the refrigerator. To make sure our fish is kept at the right temperature and stored correctly we have special refrigeration. The butchers must go inside the refrigerator room when they prepare the fish in-house,

Our men are wearing sweaters because it’s cold.

Here is an interesting recipe for lobster mashed potatoes. Take Yukon gold potatoes and freshly cooked Maine lobster; fold them into mashed potatoes with a touch of herbs. We add a splash of lobster bisque inside the mashed potatoes. That gives you that extra creaminess and richness from the lobster. Lobster massed potatoes is a great pairing with halibut.

We keep it simple but delicious.”

There are so many possibilities on the menu.

If you cannot make up your mind, try the AquaKnox Plateau for a sampling of several shellfish prepared for one, two or several people.

Since stone crab claws are seasonal AquaKnox also offers Jonah crab claws from Maine. Their sweet taste is similar to stone crabs.

With such a wide selection of fish, many people do not recognize the names of some of their selections like Branzino, New Zealand Jon Dori, Australian Barramundi and others.
