The world-famous Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas is the longest-running comedy club on the Las Vegas Strip. The Improv’s ability to showcase young comedians, as well as bring in big names, has attributed to its longevity and success.
Each week, The Improv showcases three of the funniest and freshest faces in comedy, creating a show that is always unique and definitely funny. The comedians who will perform April 9 – April 14 are:
Bob Zany: In 2010, Bob Zany wrapped up his 32nd year in showbiz with the long-awaited premier of “Close But No Cigar: Bob Zany,” Jay Kanzler’s chronicle of Zany’s three decades on the joke-telling roller coaster. Zany’s resume is bursting with close to 1,000 national television appearances, including a coveted spot on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” as well as co-starring roles alongside Matt Damon in “The Informant” and David Spade in “Joe Dirt.” Zany treasures his sixteen year association with “The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon” which has included stand-up spots, co-hosting duties, fund-raising and a VP seat on the Board of Directors.
Zan Aufderheide: Zan Aufderheide holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from University of California, San Diego and began her comedy career touring comedy clubs and open mics around the country. This eighteen-month tour took Aufderheide to theatres, arenas and churches all over the country, culminating on the stage of the Ryman Auditorium, home of The Grand Ole Opry. All of Aufderheide’s material is clean, autobiographical and funny.
Rob Brackenridge: Rob Brackenridge was destined to become a comedian and spends most of the year on the road, “bringing the funny” to audiences around the world.
